I’m not even sure where to start with this one because honestly, as a Miami fusion wedding photographer, Yash and Erik’s wedding at Cinco Farms is the kind of day that reminds me exactly why I do this. Two cultures. Two families. One big, beautiful, vibrant celebration that felt less like a wedding and more like a full-on experience.
Indian heritage and Latin traditions in one day sounds like a lot to pull off — and it was — but in the best way possible. The saturated colors, the rituals, the dancing, the handwritten notes for every single guest. Every single detail was intentional and you could feel it. Wedding planner Kat Saenz absolutely held it all together and made it look effortless.
Cinco Farms gave us this lush, sprawling backdrop that somehow managed to hold all of it. The hand-stitched textiles. The fusion ceremonies. The moments on the dance floor where both families were just completely in it together. I was moving constantly and I loved every second of it.
“Two worlds becoming one — not through compromise, but through a vivid, joyful celebration of both.”
What I love about shooting weddings like this is that there is always so much happening. The quiet, grounded moments during the ceremonies. The absolute chaos of the dance floor in the best way. The in-between glances that only happen when two people are so happy they can barely contain it. Yash and Erik had all of it.
What it means to be a Miami fusion wedding photographer
Multicultural weddings are genuinely some of my favorite days to photograph. There is so much texture — visual, emotional, cultural. You are not just documenting a ceremony, you are documenting two families saying yes to each other. The colors are richer, the rituals are layered, and the love on the dance floor hits different when you know the whole story.
South Florida is honestly the perfect place for this. Miami especially. The Latin energy is already woven into everything here, and when you mix that with the opulence and warmth of an Indian wedding? I’m obsessed every single time.
This wedding was also featured on Loverly, which — I mean, not surprised. It was that good. I’m so grateful to Yash and Erik for trusting me with their day and to Kat Saenz for running one of the most beautifully curated weddings I’ve ever been a part of.
If you are planning a multicultural or fusion wedding in Miami or South Florida and you want a Miami fusion wedding photographer who gets it and genuinely loves this kind of work, I would love to hear from you. Let’s make something unforgettable.
