A Romantic Spring Wedding at Villa Woodbine in Coconut Grove
Some weddings feel beautiful. Others feel alive. This spring wedding at Villa Woodbine in the heart of Coconut Grove was unapologetically both. Set during a warm April weekend in Miami, Liv and her husband brought together elevated hospitality energy, deeply personal details, and the kind of effortless celebration that reminds you why people fall in love with weddings in the first place.
The couple first met while working in the hospitality industry, and over the years, their relationship evolved alongside their careers — growing into something grounded, intentional, and full of life. During the ceremony, one of the most emotional moments came during the groom’s vows, when he compared their relationship to the monstera plant they bought together when they first started dating. What started as something small and new has now grown wildly and beautifully over time — thriving just like their love story. Safe to say there was not a dry eye in sight.
The wedding day itself carried even more emotional significance, as it fell on the birthday of Liv’s late grandmother. To honor her throughout the celebration, Liv gifted custom red cardinal temporary tattoos to her closest friends and family — a symbolic reminder that her grandmother was still with them in spirit throughout the day. It was one of those thoughtful, intimate wedding details that made the entire celebration feel even more personal.
And because this couple lives and breathes hospitality, the energy of the reception was next level. From the candlelit ambiance inside Villa Woodbine to the endless laughter echoing through the dance floor, every moment felt elevated without ever feeling pretentious. Caviar bumps made their way around the party late into the night, adding a playful, luxe touch that somehow perfectly matched the entire vibe of the celebration. It was chic, chaotic in the best way, and ridiculously fun.
As a Danielle Margherite Photography wedding photographer, these are the kinds of weddings I live for — emotional storytelling, stylish details, and couples who care more about creating a feeling than following tradition. This Miami wedding at Villa Woodbine was the perfect blend of editorial beauty and genuine connection, tucked into one of the most romantic venues in Coconut Grove.
